Join us in Pittsburgh for the primer high performance conference hosted by the North American Passive House Network.
In this presentation, Enrico Bonilauri from EMU Systems will speak about building related health issues caused by poor design and construction. By taking the approach that buildings are first and foremost for humans, building professionals can ensure that comfort, hygiene and durability are addressed in new construction and especially in energy retrofits. With the right strategies and tools, high performance building can mean healthy building.
Hosted by the Metro Colorado Renewable Energy Society
Location: Bozeman, Montana, Cheever Hall Montana State University

Andrew Michler will lecture on the Passive House building system as a Global Phenomenon. Andrew is a Certified Passive House Consultant and designer. He developed the first certified International Passive House in Colorado, which is the state’s most energy efficient home and has been on the cover of international architecture magazines and covered extensively in design media. Developed in Germany but utilized around the world, Passive House refers to a rigorous, voluntary standard for energy efficiency for any type of building to significantly reduce its ecological footprint. The standard is also about improving a building’s comfort well beyond what is typical in even “green” design.
Come meet the birds ruffling the feathers in the construction industry. Network with passive house folks making zero energy use buildings a reality.
The City of Fort Collins will be hosting a breakfeast and talk on the first international certified Passive House build in the state.
